Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a Manager to lead the development, integration, and verification of GNC algorithms, software, and hardware for spacecraft missions. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring space access and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GNC algorithm, software, and hardware development
  • Manage a multidisciplinary GNC engineering team
  • Oversee attitude determination, control, orbit determination, and trajectory guidance
  • Review and approve modeling and simulation analyses
  • Coordinate sensor and actuator integration
  • Lead GNC verification and validation activities
  • Ensure interface alignment with other subsystems
  • Support mission operations planning
  • Prepare technical documentation and risk assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of experience in spacecraft GNC
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience with Rendezvous & Proximity Operations (RPO)
  • Proficiency with GNC tools and methods
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools
  • Familiarity with spacecraft sensors and actuators
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
