Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to contribute to the evolution of their spacecraft and constellation modeling and simulation software. The role involves developing algorithms for orbital mechanics and spacecraft dynamics, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining high software quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Write well-structured, efficient C++ code (C++ 17/C++ 20)
  • Maintain libraries with APIs in multiple languages
  • Collaborate with teams using simulation APIs for mission planning and algorithm development
  • Implement algorithms in astrodynamics, attitude dynamics, and filtering
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, or related field
  • 1-3 years of professional C++ experience
  • Experience with Python scripting
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented software development
  • Ability to quickly understand challenges and execute plans
  • Understanding of complex distributed systems
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for DoD clearance
