Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a Senior Flight Software Engineer to contribute to all phases of spacecraft programs, from design and analysis to manufacturing and flight. The role involves developing and testing flight software for space missions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software development cycle (design, development, integration, test)
• Integrate GNC algorithms with flight software
• Assist with CDTB definition and maintenance
• Collaborate with ground C2 software team
• Assist with command scripting and sequencing
• Design and implement satellite subsystem model simulators
• Develop reusable device drivers/interfaces and communications protocol libraries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 6+ years of experience
• Low-level device driver development and safety critical systems experience
• Experience with embedded RTOS
• Familiarity with common protocols (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.)
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Ability to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance
