Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking an Electrical Power Systems engineer to design, analyze, implement, and test spacecraft power subsystems, including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution electronics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of spacecraft systems and circuit design.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of spacecraft EPS hardware
  • Perform analysis, modeling, and trade studies
  • Implement and test EPS components in the lab
  • Contribute to requirements development and design documentation
  • Execute EPS integration and test activities
  • Support development of fault protection strategies and power budgets
  • Conduct validation testing
  • Participate in root-cause investigations
  • Follow established processes for configuration control and safety
  • Ensure spacecraft EPS meets mission requirements
  • Support schedules, budgets, and risk management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2-4 years of professional experience with spacecraft or high-reliability electrical power systems design
  • Demonstrated experience with spacecraft power modeling, analysis, components, and fault management
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
