Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking an Electrical Power Systems engineer to design, analyze, implement, and test spacecraft power subsystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of spacecraft systems, circuit analyses, and design, along with the ability to lead subsystem development and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of spacecraft EPS hardware
  • Perform analysis, modeling, and trade studies
  • Implement and test EPS components
  • Lead development of requirements and design documentation
  • Lead EPS integration and test activities
  • Develop fault protection strategies and power budgets
  • Conduct validation testing
  • Lead root-cause investigations
  • Follow established processes for configuration control
  • Ensure spacecraft electrical power subsystems meet mission requirements
  • Take ownership of schedules, budgets, and risk management
  • Help develop processes and training for the electrical power team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional experience with spacecraft or high-reliability electrical power systems design
  • Demonstrated experience with spacecraft power modeling, analysis, components, and fault management
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for authorizations
