Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a creative Thermal Engineer at the Senior or Staff level to develop new spacecraft, working with a multi-disciplinary team to rapidly develop and produce space systems. The role involves thermal analysis, design, testing, and support for on-orbit operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop revolutionary thermal designs
  • Perform integrated thermal analysis
  • Perform thermal detailed analysis
  • Design thermal control components
  • Assist with electronic thermal predictions
  • Coordinate thermal interfaces
  • Support Thermal Vacuum and Thermal Cycle testing
  • Support on orbit operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 6+ years of professional experience in space thermal analysis
  • Excellence in thermal vacuum testing and model correlation
  • Thermal experience with spacecraft subcomponents
  • Proficiency in Thermal Desktop and Solidworks
  • Passion for the space industry
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
