Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a VP of Space Vehicle Engineering to own the technical vision and execution of space vehicle products and programs, leading a multidisciplinary engineering organization and ensuring reliable, scalable, and cost-effective vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical vision, product roadmap, and mission/vehicle architecture
  • Establish design standards, processes, and systems
  • Act as executive authority for systems engineering and technical risk
  • Drive strategy and decision-making with data
  • Make trade decisions balancing performance, cost, and schedule
  • Champion innovation in vehicle architectures
  • Establish a mission assurance framework
  • Build a culture of ownership and execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven program lifecycle ownership experience
  • Demonstrated on-orbit mission experience
  • Experience building and leading engineering organizations
  • 13–15+ years of experience in spacecraft or mission systems development
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for authorizations
