Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and program CNC machines to cut spacecraft parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, experience with CAD/CAM software, and a passion for the space industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine shop tooling and metal stock levels
• Operate, set up, and program DNM 5700 CNC
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files
• Adjust machine settings and tool paths
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance
• Perform quality control checks
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• 7+ years in precision machining
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and data
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Able to perform physically demanding work
• Experience maintaining shop supplies
• Passion for the space industry
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
