Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a Director of Production and Test Engineering to lead the Denver-based team responsible for delivering fully qualified spacecraft. This role involves owning build and test processes, schedules, and capacity planning, as well as driving continuous improvement in efficiency and automation to meet production commitments and ensure mission assurance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor production, test, and manufacturing engineering teams
  • Execute production and test schedules
  • Drive load capacity planning
  • Provide inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule
  • Improve build and test processes
  • Champion efficiency and automation
  • Oversee test execution and anomaly resolution
  • Lead root cause investigations
  • Develop team members
  • Ensure facility safety and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in space component/spacecraft production and testing
  • Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 standards
  • Experience managing complex components and assemblies
  • Experience with MRP, PLM, and MES systems
  • Lean manufacturing and rapid prototyping expertise
  • Understanding of spacecraft testing facilities
  • Experience with ESD sensitive components
  • Ability to manage a cleanroom environment
