Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking an experienced Senior Propulsion Technician to build the next generation of spacecraft. This role involves all aspects of spacecraft build, factory setup, and operations, requiring hands-on experience with mechanical systems and the ability to contribute to both individual tasks and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test Spacecraft propulsion systems
  • Assist with setup and execution of Thermal Vacuum chambers and vibe facilities
  • Ensure processes and cleanroom protocols are followed
  • Own product build from piece parts to full assemblies
  • Execute anomaly dispositions from engineering

Requirements

  • Technical degree or certification in relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in spacecraft or space products assembly focused on propulsion systems
  • Demonstrated excellence in assembly and integration
  • Experience with TIG welding and AWS D17.1
  • Proficiency in reading PIDs, drawings, and process sheets
  • Experience with ESD, FOD, and cleanroom operations
  • Experience operating data acquisition systems
  • Experience with spacecraft harness fabrication
  • Passion for the space industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, multimeters, and manual machining equipment
