SingleStore is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to real-time technology revolutionizing businesses. The intern will own projects end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and gain experience throughout the product lifecycle, working on projects ranging from LLMs to query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Work on small, collaborative teams
• Explore cutting-edge technologies like LLM and vector index
• Improve fault tolerance
• Accelerate SQL query performance
• Write search and costing modules
• Write and test software
• Understand the product and business

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Understanding of C.S. fundamentals (operating systems, concurrency, multithreading)
• Strong programming skills with C++ or C
• Passion for building reliable software
• Grasp of algorithms and data structures
