Job Description

Smartsheet is seeking an Account Executive to increase software sales and drive expansion across a territory of accounts. The role involves building and managing a sales pipeline, developing new business opportunities within existing customers, and expanding Smartsheet's brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Execute a solution-based sales process
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand footprint
  • Expand brand awareness
  • Manage partnerships with Sales Engineers and Customer Success
  • Create Joint Engagement Plans
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
  • Utilize sales enablement tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years full sales cycle management in SaaS
  • 3+ years of B2B customer relationship experience
  • Understanding of SaaS evaluation process
  • 3+ years of experience working with multiple departments
  • Ability to research accounts for up-sell opportunities
  • Experience with CRM and Power BI (Salesforce and Tableau)
  • Passion for new technologies
  • Bachelor's degree
