Galileo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to tackle complex challenges, own the architecture and strategy for key systems, and drive modernization efforts. This role involves designing and delivering data-intensive, secure software solutions with a focus on both frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript) and backend (Python, PHP) development, as well as mentoring other engineers and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of web applications
• Build scalable backend systems and APIs

• Lead root-cause analysis during on-call rotations

Requirements

• Advanced system design skills
