Job Description

Galileo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive code development at scale, focusing on removing complexities in payments and enabling excellent card issuing and digital banking experiences. The role involves implementing new functionality, architecting systems, bug fixing, and contributing to the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive end-to-end technical initiatives
• Shape the technical architecture of the product
• Translate product requirements into user stories
• Mentor other engineers
• Generate ideas for new initiatives
• Communicate with project leads and developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years programming experience
• Experience with queueing/streaming services (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS)
• Experience with AWS services (API Gateway)
• Ability to design resilient software components
• Ability to lead and influence a team
