Galileo is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead impactful projects across multiple teams, shaping technical direction and improving software systems. This role involves hands-on development, mentoring, strategic planning, and collaboration with various teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• 10+ years programming experience (Python preferred)
• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with continuous delivery principles
• Experience improving legacy systems
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead and influence technical direction
