Job Description

Galileo is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join their Funds Flow & Reconciliation team. This role requires a blend of accounting precision and technical curiosity, focusing on Mastercard QMR and Visa QOC reporting. The analyst will be responsible for data reporting, automation, and ensuring accuracy as the company evolves.

Responsibilities

• Own Mastercard QMR and Visa QOC data reporting
• Rebuild and validate queries
• Automate QMR and QOC reports
• Develop expertise in Galileo’s database architecture
• Perform bank and network reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve data anomalies
• Lead transition to automated reporting
• Document processes and maintain data governance

Requirements

• Advanced SQL proficiency
• Strong understanding of financial data structures
• Accounting or reconciliation experience
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Snowflake, PowerBI, or similar
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Independent work ability and prioritization skills
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
• Network data experience (Mastercard, Visa, etc.) preferred
