OpenTable is seeking a highly skilled attorney to join its Legal team as a Senior Director, Legal. This is a broad and high-impact role for a legal generalist with employment and litigation expertise, providing leadership and strategic decision-making across various legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice and leadership
• Manage and mentor a team of attorneys
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
• Oversee litigation and dispute matters
• Advise on global employment policies and procedures
• Manage internal stakeholder communication related to litigation
• Partner with HR to design legally compliant policies
• Support engagement with regulators and stakeholders

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law
• 8+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience
• Strong focus on employment law and litigation management
• Proven ability to manage contracts and legal issues
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience managing outside counsel
• Experience managing and mentoring attorneys
