Job Description

The Sr. Director will lead the growth and development of OpenTable’s restaurant network in top US markets, focusing on new business acquisition, existing business growth, account retention, and revenue generation. This role requires a data-driven leader to build a technology-led sales organization and inspire a large team.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue through new sales and retention
  • Lead and provide vision for the Sales and Restaurant Services team
  • Manage District Managers/Directors
  • Improve sales process and customer experience
  • Handle team performance and manage poor performers
  • Define characteristics of top performers and build a high-performing team
  • Represent OpenTable as an industry leader
  • Provide cross-departmental coordination
  • Design and present strategic plans with P&L responsibility
  • Participate in executive decisions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Sr. Director or Director leading sales/business development teams
  • Experience at a fast-paced tech organization
  • Deep understanding of the restaurant industry
  • Experience with financial/sales modeling and forecasting
  • Data-driven decision modeling and analysis skills
  • Success in a SaaS or start-up environment
  • Experience with complex, high-value sales
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competitive and results-driven
  • College degree expected, MBA preferred
