Job Description

The Account Manager manages a portfolio of restaurants and is responsible for the full customer lifecycle, focusing on the Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Cleveland markets. This role involves building relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring restaurant success through OpenTable's technology and services.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and build relationships with restaurants
  • Assist with reservation flow configuration
  • Identify sales opportunities for marketing tools
  • Build data-driven presentations for business reviews
  • Achieve company sales objectives
  • Track meeting activity in Salesforce
  • Act as a point of contact for restaurant concerns
  • Collaborate with marketing for restaurant programs
  • Capture feedback for product improvements
  • Educate operators on industry trends
  • Lead restaurant retention and contract renewals

Requirements

  • Account management or hospitality experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and P&L
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Knowledge of economic and industry drivers
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Training and presentation skills
  • Strong social and organizational skills
  • Analytical and data-driven approach
