Job Description

OpenTable is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth by engaging potential restaurant clients and securing appointments for Account Executives. This role involves outbound prospecting, educating prospects, qualifying leads, and building relationships within the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calling, emailing, social media)
  • Educate prospects about OpenTable's products
  • Qualify leads based on needs and budget
  • Build relationships with restaurant owners and managers
  • Collaborate with Account Executives
  • Track prospect activity in CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Stay informed about industry trends
  • Attend sales meetings and training

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of sales development experience (hospitality, tech, or SaaS preferred)
  • Proven track record of lead generation and meeting sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in delivering sales pitches
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
