VSCO is seeking a highly experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, implement, and elevate ML-powered features across their platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, AI, and data engineering, with a proven track record of building scalable and impactful ML systems. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML-powered features for search, discovery, personalization, and recommendation systems
• Elevate the ML platform for model building, training, and deployment at scale
• Research and implement machine learning best practices
• Utilize data and ML to optimize business funnels and enhance user experiences
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered creative tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
• Proactively assure progress with stakeholders and assess prioritization

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and developing ML systems
• Proven track record in optimizing ML algorithms and building ML pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis tools
• Hands-on experience with computer vision models
• Prior experience with data engineering and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
