Viam is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical point of contact for strategic customers. This role combines engineering expertise with post-sales execution, customer strategy, and problem-solving, ensuring customer success on the Viam platform.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for enterprise accounts
• Guide implementation, onboarding, and integration
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering
• Solve technical challenges
• Translate customer needs into technical steps
• Communicate proactively
• Represent the voice of the customer

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills
• Post-sales or customer-facing engineering experience
• Problem-solving skills
• Prioritization skills
• Coding and debugging skills (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc)
• Organizational and resourcefulness
• Experience supporting enterprise customers
