Job Description

Viam is seeking a software engineering intern to collaborate with their full-time engineers on building software for their platform, which helps companies leverage AI, data, and automation in the physical world. The intern will work across the stack, utilizing technologies like Golang, TypeScript, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Working across the stack on robotics and cloud computing problems
• Integrating with the full-time engineering team
• Using state-of-the-art technologies
• Learning engineering best practices
• Testing software with robotics hardware

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least one term remaining after the internship
• Availability to intern in person in New York City for 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2026
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
• Experience with various programming languages
