Truveta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps to join their growing engineering team. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, mentoring junior engineers, and driving adoption of modern DevOps practices to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain index, query, and search system features
• Architecting, implementing, and testing new index and query features
• Optimizing end-to-end index performance
• Planning, architecting, and deploying highly scalable and reliable search systems
• Implement compliance controls and conduct security reviews
• Drive observability, reliability, and automation
• Monitor emerging technology and champion adoption

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices (Azure preferred)
• Experience with search system features (indexing, querying, optimization)
• Experience reviewing data specifications and handling large-scale data
