Job Description

Truveta is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to join their newly formed Healthcare Analytics team. This role focuses on empowering health system leaders with data-driven insights to improve care quality, population health, and financial sustainability. The analyst will work with a large EHR database to create impactful analytic outputs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytic outputs (studies, dashboards, benchmarks)
• Wrangle large-scale healthcare datasets using SQL, R, and/or Python
• Engage with clinical leaders delivering case studies and demos
• Collaborate to validate data quality and provide product feedback
• Apply AI to speed feedback loops and deliver insights

Requirements

• Undergraduate/graduate education in data analysis or related field
• Experience with large relational databases
• Experience building dashboards/metrics for health system improvement
• 2+ years experience analyzing EHR data using SQL, R, and Python
• Knowledge of clinical terminologies (ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, NDC)
• Willingness to learn proprietary coding language
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment
