Job Description

Truveta is seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning PhD Intern to contribute to innovative projects in Large Language Modeling (LLM) and clinical data analysis. The intern will collaborate with researchers and engineers to design, develop, and refine LLMs for various healthcare applications, focusing on applied science and software development skills to build Foundation Models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to design, develop, and refine large language models
• Utilize expertise in machine learning and natural language processing to develop algorithms
• Implement, train, and fine-tune LLM models on large-scale datasets
• Stay up to date with research advancements in language modeling and machine learning
• Deliver innovation in trustworthy healthcare

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Focus on machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and generative AI
• Strong theoretical and practical background in NLP
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
