Evident is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to build the product and lead a small team in an AI-first development environment. The role focuses on leveraging AI tools to accelerate SaaS product delivery while maintaining quality, setting engineering standards, and guiding the team through modern AI-enabled development practices.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Product Engineering
• Design, build, test, and ship SaaS features
• Drive architecture decisions
• Set code quality standards
• Evaluate and implement AI tools
• Build AI-in-the-loop workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience leading small teams
• Proven ability to build and ship SaaS products
