Job Description

Sysdig is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to maintain a software platform architecture for customer security installs, build and maintain health management of customer resources, and develop micro-services for large-scale customers. The role involves collaborating across teams, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain software platform architecture for customer security installs
• Build and maintain health management of customer resources
• Build micro-services handling datasets from large-scale customers
• Work on solutions designed for scalability, reliability, and performance
• Solve novel problems creatively
• Collaborate across the organization
• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience building backend services and APIs
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with Go
• Experience with Public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency with testing methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
