Job Description

Sysdig is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the scale-out effort by designing and building backend features, developing scalable APIs, and collaborating with various teams to create impactful features for runtime threat detection and policy enforcement across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scale-out efforts
• Develop scalable APIs and services
• Evolve architecture for reliability and performance
• Collaborate with Product, Threat Research, and other teams
• Handle real-time and historical security data
• Participate in code reviews and design sessions

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Experience with Go, Java, or C++
• Experience with containerized workloads and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with logging and metrics
• Experience with AI tools is a plus
• Experience with security products is a plus
