Sysdig is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems and tools. The role involves collaborating with teams to integrate security practices, building automation, reviewing code, managing security monitoring, and staying current with security trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security practices
• Build automation scripts and security tools
• Review code and architecture for security weaknesses
• Manage and improve security monitoring and incident response
• Stay up-to-date with security trends
• Manage security for cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Java, Go etc.)
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with SIEM tools
• Knowledge of security protocols and encryption
