Job Description

This position provides System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to the Space RCO at Kirtland AFB, NM, supporting government program managers through all phases of acquisition for high-visibility, time-critical programs. The role involves acquisition planning, strategy development, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring program success within agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as program advisory lead
• Support government program managers through acquisition phases
• Assist acquisition planning and drafting technical documents
• Support acquisition strategy development
• Coordinate with stakeholders
• Assess program deliverables
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations
• Confer with SETA and FFRDC for problem resolution
• Manage and execute multi-project programs
• Draft program reports and briefings
• Communicate technical information clearly
• Coordinate with external agencies
• Develop monthly status reports

Requirements

• TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility and CI Poly willingness
• MA/MS/ME Degree from an ABET-accredited program
• 25 years of DoD/IC system development and transition experience
• 5+ years of SAP/SCI environment experience
• 1 year of SAP/SCI experience within the last 5 years
• Knowledge of space systems development
• Understanding of ground systems and mission user needs
• Experience in DoD program management
• Experience with requirements management and project planning
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and risk management
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS)
