EXPANSIA is seeking a Test Engineer SME to support the development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions for a client focused on advanced defense and intelligence programs. The role involves providing System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO), applying expertise in space hardware and software testing, and delivering results in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as program advisory lead for technical projects
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify program needs
• Assist with acquisition planning and drafting technical requirements
• Assess technical sufficiency of program deliverables
• Provide technical advice and problem resolution
• Support management and execution of programs
• Draft program reports and documents
• Coordinate with external agencies
• Advise government management on design challenges
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations
• Communicate technical information effectively

Requirements

• TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility and CI Poly willingness
• MA/MS/ME Degree from an ABET-accredited program
• Minimum 15 years of DoD/IC or relevant industry experience
• 5+ years of SAP/SCI environment experience
• 2+ years of SAP/SCI experience within the last 5 years
• Experience in testing satellite systems
• Understanding of operational environment and mission user needs
• Knowledge of space system engineering and manufacturing
• Experience with Developmental or Operational Test
