project44 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to design, build, and implement integrations for their supply chain visibility platform. The role involves working in a fast-paced Agile environment, operating and improving the platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build integrations to expand the network of connected carriers and customers
• Manage integrations through their lifecycle
• Operate, maintain, and improve the supply chain visibility platform
• Build systems in a multi-cloud environment
• Work with cross-functional teams
• Share ownership of software delivery
• Participate in on-call responsibilities
• Invest in tools, monitoring, and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience building large scale and real time cloud systems
• Strong programming and debugging skills in C++ or Java
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Java-based micro-services
• Experience with databases (Postgres or SQL)
• Experience with event stores and stream-processing (Kafka or Kinesis)
• Experience in agile software development
