Job Description

project44 is seeking a dynamic leader to head their Global Solutions Engineering organization. This role involves scaling and leading a team of Solutions Engineers and Channel Sales across multiple regions, aligning with sales objectives and customer needs, and providing strategic technical guidance. The position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and build a global team of Pre-sales Engineers & Channel Sales
  • Drive the strategy and execution of the global Solutions Engineering function
  • Uncover, comprehend, and document complex business challenges
  • Foster team collaboration across regions
  • Influence strategic deals and support complex customer solutions
  • Partner with CRO, sales leadership, product, and marketing
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
  • Drive partner sourced pipeline
  • Develop scalable processes and KPIs for team performance

Requirements

  • 12+ years of pre-sales engineering experience with 5+ years managing a global team
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, or transportation management
  • Success in retaining, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with system integration methods (web services, APIs)
  • Success partnering with enterprise sales
  • Strong strategic planning and field execution skills
  • Experience scaling pre-sales teams
  • Proven track record in building customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for self-learning and industry trends
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
