Job Description

Appian is seeking a Lead Application Engineer to build and deploy web-based applications on the Appian platform, automating business processes and supporting business strategy. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with business stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions using Appian’s platform
• Deliver projects independently or in a small team
• Research, develop, and implement tools to speed up application development
• Maintain documentation, training, and tooling
• Triage and troubleshoot production issues

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
• 5+ years of experience with hands-on Appian development
• Experience on cross-functional teams using agile methodologies
• Knowledge of APIs, database design, SQL
