Job Description

Appian is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to engage with customers post-sales, developing software solutions on the Appian platform to drive digital transformation. This role involves the entire project lifecycle, from defining requirements to implementing AI-powered solutions, and collaborating with both technical and business teams to ensure client success and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions
• Defining, designing, developing, and implementing custom software and AI solutions
• Understanding client’s business processes and technical needs
• Launching new relational data models
• Developing APIs to integrate with multiple systems
• Brainstorming AI use cases and implementing Appian’s AI tools
• Collaborating with client’s technical teams and business users
• Driving adoption by empowering clients

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with hands-on software development or technical consulting
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
• Passion for mentoring/developing others and leading small teams
• Ability to define business processes and gather requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Understanding of object oriented programming and relational databases
• SQL skills
• Knowledge of software testing practices
• Integrations experience using APIs
• Willingness to travel (20%)
