Job Description

Appian is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join their Customer Success team. This role involves engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, driving digital transformation and competitive differentiation. The consultant will work throughout the project lifecycle, defining, designing, developing, and implementing custom software and AI solutions, while also mentoring a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers post-sales to develop software solutions
  • Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions
  • Work throughout the entire project life-cycle
  • Understand client’s business processes and technical needs
  • Launch new relational data models
  • Develop APIs to integrate with multiple systems
  • Brainstorm AI use cases and implement Appian’s AI tools
  • Collaborate with client’s technical teams and business users
  • Drive adoption by empowering clients
  • Mentor and develop small teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with hands-on software development or technical consulting
  • B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
  • Passion for mentoring/developing others
  • Ability to define business processes and gather requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • History of success on cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of object oriented programming
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of software testing practices
  • Integrations experience using APIs
  • Willingness to travel (20%)
