Job Description

Appian is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to engage with customers post-sales, developing software solutions on the Appian platform to drive digital transformation. This role involves the entire project lifecycle, from defining requirements to implementing AI solutions and empowering clients to build their own applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers post-sales to develop software solutions
• Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions
• Work throughout the project lifecycle
• Understand client’s business processes and technical needs
• Launch new relational data models
• Develop APIs to integrate with multiple systems
• Brainstorm AI use cases and implement Appian’s AI tools
• Collaborate with client’s technical teams and business users
• Drive adoption by empowering clients

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with hands-on software development or technical consulting
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field
• Passion for mentoring/developing others and leading small teams
• Ability to define business processes and gather requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• History of success on cross-functional teams
• Understanding of object oriented programming
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of software testing practices
• Integrations experience using APIs
• Willingness to travel (20%)
