Job Description

Appian is seeking a Software Implementation Consultant to engage with customers post-sales, developing software solutions on the Appian platform to drive digital transformation. The role involves working throughout the project lifecycle to design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions, integrating with multiple systems and empowering clients to build process applications.

Responsibilities

• Define business processes and gather requirements
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Launch relational data models
• Develop APIs for system integration
• Implement AI tools using RAG, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering
• Collaborate with technical teams and business users
• Drive client adoption and self-sufficiency

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• 1+ years of software development or technical consulting experience
• B.S./B.A. in related field
• Ability to work with clients to define processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• SQL skills
• Knowledge of software testing practices
• Integrations experience with APIs
