Appian is seeking Information Security Analyst Interns to assist with platform and application accreditations, cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, and Government compliance. The intern will develop skills in risk management, vulnerability management, and Government security compliance, working on programs to protect critical assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with platform and application accreditations
• Support cybersecurity operations
• Conduct security monitoring
• Support Government compliance
• Evaluate security posture
• Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations
• Build RMF security documentation
• Conduct security research
• Execute on security projects
• Work with Government customers for ATO

Requirements

• Undergraduate student in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Interest in NIST RMF process
• Willingness to learn complex security concepts
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MariaDB
• Understanding of Government security practices
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
