Job Description

Senior Quality Engineers at Appian ensure high-quality software delivery by championing the customer perspective and embedding quality into every development stage. They proactively identify risks, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement through rigorous testing and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing and troubleshooting of features across web, Android, and iOS
• Writing automated test code using Java, Python, and Selenium
• Performing regression testing
• Analyzing and documenting software defects
• Building and maintaining test artifacts
• Defining and reviewing Acceptance Criteria
• Reporting bugs and test results
• Analyzing requirements and understanding root cause of defects
• Understanding engineering strategy for performance engineering
• Writing concise software defect reports

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering or demonstrated aptitude for technology
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding and testing of AI and machine learning models (preferred)
• Knowledge of test design
• Ability to systematically analyze requirements
