Job Description

The Account Executive role is responsible for managing complex accounts, prospecting, and navigating a 6-12 month sales cycle to a successful close, focusing on selling Appian's solutions for digital transformation to Federal Healthcare agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate complex accounts
  • Prospecting and top of funnel activity
  • Manage complex sales cycle
  • Leverage internal and external resources
  • Deliver presentations to LOB & IT audiences
  • Act as a trusted advisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-10+ years of direct selling experience
  • 2+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive
  • Experience selling complex technologies to Federal Civilian agencies
  • Consistent quota achievement
  • History of landing new customer logos
  • Strong job tenure
  • Platform sales experience
