Job Description

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate. You will illustrate the value that Appian’s platform can provide, engage and articulate product positioning to both business and technical users, and identify technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to achieve defined sales goals
  • Lead efforts to ensure the delivery of technical resources into sales campaigns
  • Propose technical and creative business solutions
  • Design and deliver high-quality technical Proof of Concepts
  • Present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience
  • Represent Appian’s product to customers and at field events
  • Assist with the radiation strategy by building customer relationships
  • Manage target accounts
  • Work with colleagues across the organization to receive support
  • Willingness to travel 70% to customer locations

  • Lead disciplined customer evaluations
  • Develop and contribute reusable assets
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise SaaS sales cycles
