Job Description

As a Technology Strategy Engineer, you will work with the CTO team to help the ideation, incubation, and commercialization of new products. You will track emerging technology trends, create novel approaches to enhancing the Appian Platform, present to a wide variety of audiences, develop prototypes, and write analysis of your research. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role with the opportunity to work directly with our Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Requirements

• Practiced knowledge of programming concepts and best practices
• Ability to leverage programming knowledge to write software
• Ability to monitor and evaluate emerging technologies
• Ability to prepare data-driven analyses and executive summaries
• Superb communication skills
• Ability to be a flexible self-starter
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with React, Javascript, Java, and Python
• Experience with open source software and Git
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies
