Job Description

The Technology Strategy Engineer will work with the CTO team to help the ideation, incubation, and commercialization of new products. This role involves tracking emerging technology trends, creating novel approaches to enhancing the Appian Platform, presenting to various audiences, developing prototypes, and writing analysis of research. It's a fast-paced, high-visibility role with direct interaction with the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Requirements

• Practiced knowledge of programming concepts and best practices
• Ability to leverage programming skills in a full-stack web and mobile environment
• Ability to monitor and evaluate emerging technologies
• Ability to prepare data-driven analyses and executive summaries
• Superb communication skills
• Ability to be a flexible self-starter
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with React, Javascript, Java, and Python
• Experience with open source software and Git
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies
