Interface AI is building a universal banking assistant to help millions of U.S. consumers manage their finances. They are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – Product Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of customer-facing products, combining technical acumen, product intuition, and operational excellence to solve complex engineering problems and deliver magical user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction, architecture, and quality bar for customer-facing product systems
• Drive execution, velocity, and reliability across multiple teams
• Instill a 10x engineering culture
• Partner with Product and Design to shape customer experiences with an AI-first mindset
• Ensure engineering teams execute with extreme ownership
• Manage and grow top-tier engineering talent
• Interface with customers and product managers
• Deliver with predictability and precision
• Establish and scale engineering best practices

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years managing high-performing teams
• Strong background in system design, scalable architectures, APIs, and modern frameworks
• Proven track record of end-to-end accountability for product delivery
• Demonstrated ability to raise the engineering bar
• Experience working closely with product teams and customers
• Strong understanding or experience integrating AI/ML systems into products
• Hands-on leadership in scaling large consumer-facing systems
• Exceptional organizational and execution skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Passion for developing teams that value autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
