Job Description

The Associate Principal, Business Development role in the Data & AI practice is responsible for leading relationships with key strategic accounts, cultivating relationships with prospective accounts, and driving the strategic direction of the Data & AI practice. This role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, helping customers leverage data to achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Craft proposals, pitches, and SOWs
  • Cultivate C-level relationships
  • Respond to opportunities and team-sell
  • Advise internal teams on industry trends
  • Support go-to-market initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience selling/delivering Data-driven Insights, Data and AI Strategy, Agentic AI, AI-driven Products, AI-fueled Customer Experience
  • Experience in Data and/or AI custom services sales or consulting
  • Experience in net-new client acquisition or cross-selling
  • Knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Data Science
  • Self-driven with curiosity about the Data & AI market
  • Ability to identify business issues and discern value
  • Ability to scope and plan analyses
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively
  • Experience in GenAI custom services sales or consulting (preferred)
  • Background in Data Engineering or Data Science (preferred)
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
