Job Description

As a Digital Media Producer, you'll film and edit multimedia content for short- and long-form videos, working with the Global Brand & Creative Studio to atomize and repurpose content for brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversion across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Edits audio and video projects based on established scripts or outlines
• Works with Marketing teams to produce and optimize video snippets
• Works with Directors/Producers to direct on-screen talent and facilitate interviews
• Prepares and strikes production sets
• Manages and updates digital media software and equipment
• Conducts various styles of production including podcasts, webinars, studio recordings, and on-location productions
• Loads and organizes footage and maintains project documentation
• Supports production at TELUS Digital’s Woolen Mills Innovation Center with occasional travel

Requirements

• Experience with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
• Experience with the pre-/post-/production process and video storytelling
• Experience with color correction and motion graphics software
• Familiarity with control rooms and lighting grids
• Software knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, cloud services
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and video trends
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities
• Strong organizational skills and visual sensibility
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with high-profile guests and executives
