TELUS Digital is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to mentor a team of engineers, influence project outcomes, and ensure team happiness. The role involves leading the design and implementation of software solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring software quality while staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable full-stack applications
• Lead the design and implementation of software solutions
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders
• Ensure software quality through testing methodologies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and implement improvements

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Adobe AEM and other Adobe technical solutions
• 2+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Extensive experience in full-stack web development (JavaScript, Node.js, MEAN Stack)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI)
• Comfortable having difficult conversations
• Experience presenting complex ideas
• Empathetic leadership skills
• Ability to contribute recommendations and influence product decisions
• Experience leading large software projects
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with technology
• Understanding of security considerations
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies
• Self-awareness and a desire to learn
