Job Description

TELUS Digital's summer internship program offers current students the chance to contribute to real client projects, receive mentorship from a Product Design team member, and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Interns will work full-time for approximately 11 weeks, contributing to design solutions from ideation to execution across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clients achieving their outcomes and business goals through forward-thinking design
• Advocate for effective design practices, design sprints, and best practices
• Contribute to product experiences from ideation to execution
• Push the team’s creative, visual, and interactive design capabilities
• Work on real client work

Requirements

• Plans to graduate in December 2026 or later
• Online portfolio of mobile app or web design work
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Invision
• Strong conceptual thinker with an understanding of customer needs, user behaviors, and project requirements
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Strong understanding of typography, layout and basic design principles
• Motion design experience
• Comfortable presenting designs to teammates and clients
• Passion for current design trends and user experience
